Mitsubishi UFJ Financial (TYO:8306) or MUFG will partner with BlackRock and Morgan Stanley to raise funds from overseas institutional investors for mergers and acquisitions of Japanese companies, Nikkei Asia reported on Tuesday.

MUFG Morgan Stanley Credit Solutions, a unit of Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities, will sell loan receivables to overseas investors, with transaction volume expected to reach 200 billion yen to 300 billion yen per year, the news wire said.

The trio aims to create a framework to allow clients of both BlackRock and the Morgan Stanley group to participate in buyout financing deals arranged by MUFG, the publication said.

MUFG and BlackRock did not respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
