Hyundai Motor's (KRX:005380) global sales fell 14% year over year to 288,574 vehicles in August, according to a Tuesday filing with the Korea Exchange.
International sales decreased 8.5% to 254,241 units, while domestic sales fell 41% to 34,333 units.
ear‑to‑date global sales were down 6% at about 2.6 million vehicles, including 399,159 sold domestically and about 2.2 million overseas.
