RainRock Acquisition Corp. Files for $150M IPO

Blank-check company RainRock Acquisition Corp. filed for a $150 million initial public offering Tuesday, planning to focus on a deal within cryptocurrency and Web3 technology.

RainRock's chief executive, Raymond Qu, founded payment technology Geoswift and has invested in sectors including fintech, AI, blockchain and digital banking.

The Vancouver company is seeking a Nasdaq Global Market listing. After the securities comprising units begin separate trading, the company expects ordinary shares will trade under the symbol RRCK.
