Gulf Development (SET:GULF) said two of its solar power projects in Thailand with a combined contracted capacity of 135 megawatts began commercial operations on Sept. 1, according to a same-day Thailand Exchange filing.

Located in Suphan Buri province, the projects include a 68 MW solar farm run by Luminous Energy and a 67 MW solar farm with battery storage operated by Siam Shining Energy.

Both projects will supply electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand under 25-year power purchase deals.

Gulf Development expects four more solar projects with a combined contracted capacity of 235.6 MW to begin commercial operations in November-December.
