Sailun Group's (SHA:601058) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half rose 18% to 2.16 billion yuan from 1.83 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Monday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
Earnings per share increased year on year to 0.66 yuan from 0.56 yuan.
Operating revenue grew 14% to 20 billion yuan from 17.6 billion yuan in the previous year.
The Chinese tire manufacturer recommended a cash dividend payout of 0.15 yuan per share for the period.
The company's shares rose 6% at the close.
