China CSSC's H1 Profit Soars 164%, Revenue Rises 26%

China CSSC Holdings' (SHA:600150) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half soared 164% to 9.95 billion yuan from 3.78 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Monday.

Earnings per share surged 108% year on year to 1.323 yuan from 0.637 yuan.

Operating revenue rose 26% to 91.5 billion yuan from 72.6 billion yuan in the previous year.

The shipbuilder proposed distributing a dividend of 4.65 yuan per 10 shares to shareholders.

The company's shares fell 2% during the morning trade.
