Tata Power Renewable Energy Commissions 100-MW Solar Project

Tata Power's (NSE:TATAPOWER, BOM:500400) unit, Tata Power Renewable Energy, commissioned a 100-MW group captive solar project in Tamil Nadu, increasing its operational renewable energy capacity to more than 7 GW, according to a Monday filing on Indian bourses.
The project in Kayathar is expected to generate 240.63 million units of electricity annually and supply power to TP Solar, Tata Electronics and Tata Realty and Infrastructure.
Tata Power Renewable's operational portfolio comprises more than 5.7 GW of solar and 1.3 GW of wind capacity, with another 5.3 GW under development.
