China State Construction Engineering's H1 Profit Down 24%, Revenue Slips 12%

China State Construction Engineering (SHA:601668) posted first-half attributable net profit of 23.0 billion yuan, down 24% from 30.4 billion yuan the previous year.

Earnings per share declined to 0.55 yuan from 0.73 yuan, according to a filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Operating revenue slipped 12% year over year to 975.8 billion yuan from 1.108 trillion yuan.

The engineering company's shares were down 2% in recent trade.
