NIKE (NKE) named former Foot Locker executive Kristin Bauer as chief operating officer of its struggling Converse brand, effective Sept. 14, Bloomberg News reported, citing an internal memo.
Bauer, who served as Foot Locker's chief supply chain officer for nearly three years until April, will report to Nike COO Venky Alagirisamy, the report said.
The appointment comes as Converse faces an extended sales slump, with revenue declining for 13 consecutive quarters, Bloomberg News said.
