Mobia Medical's (MOBI) implantable paired Vagus Nerve Stimulation has been recognized in the 2026 Guideline for Adult Stroke Rehabilitation and Recovery by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, the medical device company said Friday.

The new guideline indicates that Vagus Nerve Stimulation, when paired with high-dose task-specific training, may be considered to improve upper-limb function and impairment for eligible patients, Mobia said.

"Recognition of paired [Vagus Nerve Stimulation] in the guideline for stroke recovery is a meaningful validation" of Mobia's technology, the company quoted its chief executive officer, Richard Foust, as saying.
