Abbott Laboratories (ABT) has received the CE Mark for its stroke treatment device Amulet 360 Left Atrial Appendage Occluder, the company said Thursday.
The device is designed to reduce risk of stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation not caused by a heart valve issue, Abbott said.
The CE Mark approval for the device was supported by recent clinical data that showed Amulet 360 met benchmarks for safety and effectiveness, the company said.
