Japan Metropolitan Fund to Buy 4.87 Billion Yen Property

Japan Metropolitan Fund Investment (TYO:8953) plans to acquire m-city Toda-Koen, a community-based retail facility in Toda, Saitama Prefecture, for 4.87 billion yen.

The acquisition is scheduled for Oct. 1, and will be funded through debt, according to a Wednesday Tokyo bourse filing.

The property is about a 10-minute walk from Toda-Koen Station and is anchored by Super Value LOPIA, with about 300 parking spaces, it said.
