China Satellite Communications (SHA:601698) posted first-half attributable net profit of 113.1 million yuan, down 37% from 180.5 million yuan the previous year.
Earnings per share declined to 0.0268 yuan from 0.0427 yuan, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Operating revenue ticked up 0.7% year over year to 1.23 billion yuan from 1.22 billion yuan.
Shares of the satellite operator were down 1% in recent trade.
