Tongwei's (SHA:600438) attributable loss widened by 3.3% to 5.12 billion yuan in the first half from 4.96 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Loss per share at the silicon producer reached 1.1371 yuan, wider than the 1.1007 yuan logged in the prior-year period.
Operating revenue declined 15% year over year to 34.4 billion yuan from 40.5 billion yuan.
Company shares slipped 1% during afternoon trading on Thursday.
