Bank of Chengdu's Attributable Profit Jumps 4.4% in H1

Bank of Chengdu (SHA:601838) attributable profit rose 4.4% to 6.90 billion yuan in the first half from 6.62 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the bank increased to 1.63 yuan from 1.56 yuan in the prior-year period.

Operating revenue grew 4.1% year over year to 12.8 billion yuan from 12.3 billion yuan.

Net interest income rose 19% to 11.6 billion yuan from 9.77 billion yuan, while net fee and commission income slipped 12% to 219 million yuan from 247.9 million yuan.

As of June 30, the bank's non-performing loan ratio stood at 0.68%, staying flat compared with the end of 2025.

Total assets grew 7.1% to 1.497 trillion yuan from 1.398 trillion yuan in the six months ended December 2025.
