Summerset Group Holdings H1 Earnings, Revenue Up; Shares Jump 6%

Summerset Group Holdings (NZE:SUM, ASX:SNZ) logged NZ$0.7046 in EPS for the first half, compared with NZ$0.373 a year ago, a Thursday filing showed.

For the six months ended June 30, revenue was NZ$200.3 million versus NZ$173 million previously, the Australia-listed aged-care facility operator added.

The board declared an interim dividend of NZ$0.038, payable Sept. 23 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 10.

The company said it is targeting a net debt below NZ$1.9 billion in fiscal 2027 with gearing of 33% and and Care earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization of NZ$20,000 to NZ$25,000 per bed.

The company's New Zealand shares jumped nearly 6% in recent Thursday trade.
