Skanska to Build Data Center in Finland for Around $90 Million

Skanska signed a contract to build a data center in Finland for 77 million euros ($89.9 million), its third announcement on such a contract in the past week.
The Swedish construction company said the project will start in the fourth quarter of 2026 and be completed in the third quarter of 2027. The company did not disclose the other party in the contract.
The contract will be included in Nordic order bookings for the third quarter of 2026, Skanska added.
Over the past week, Skanska has said it won a $1.2 billion contract to build four data centers in the southeast of the U.S., and a further 2.1 billion Czech koruna ($101.8 million) contract to build a data center in the Czech Republic.
