Polaris Renewable Energy Gets TSX Okay to Buy Back up 10% of Public Float

Polaris Renewable Energy intends to launch a share repurchase program to buy back up to 10% of its common shares over the course of the next year.
The renewable energy projects company said Tuesday that the Toronto Stock Exchange has approved its plan to buy back up to 2 million of its shares for cancellation.
The stock has been pushing higher in 2026, rising 23% since the start of the year to close on Monday at 14.51 Canadian dollars ($10.48).
At Monday's closing price, the value of the block of shares intended for buyback would be worth about C$29.3 million.
Polaris can begin buying back shares starting on Aug. 27.
