Suzhou Centec Communications' (SHA:688702) attributable loss narrowed to 17.6 million yuan in the first half from 23.7 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Loss per share at the Ethernet switching chip maker was 0.04 yuan compared with 0.06 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating revenue grew 32% year over year to 670.7 million yuan from about 508 million yuan.
Company shares rose 3% during the midday break on Thursday.
