0934 ET - Life Time Chief Executive Bahram Akradi says GLP-1s will be a good thing for gyms like the ones offered by his company. Weight-loss drugs can reduce muscle mass and bone density, so people have to work out more consistently to offset these effects, Bahram tells CNBC. Life Time now provides access to GLP-1s through its on-site MIORA Longevity and Performance clinics. Akradi says that clinicians at the sites also offer a workout plan alongside the GLP-1s so people won't lose muscle on the drugs. "It's actually helping the health clubs. Not just Life Time, but all clubs," Akradi says.
