Autodesk (ADSK) reported a solid Q2 beat and higher organic growth guidance, backed by strong underlying performance and execution, RBC Capital Markets said in a Friday note.

The company reported Q2 revenue growth of 16%, while operating margin increased 200 basis points year over year, the firm noted. RBC said sales reorganization efforts are tracking well, with strong renewals and new-business activity normalizing.

The MaintainX acquisition closed on Aug. 3 and is now reflected in Autodesk's guidance, RBC noted, adding that it expects the deal to add $60 million to revenue and $70 million to billings in H2 2027, weighted toward Q4.

The firm also highlighted more than 20% growth in Construction and accelerating multi-seat adoption of Fusion, driven by artificial intelligence and model context protocol-enabled workflows.

RBC maintained its outperform rating on Autodesk and a $305 price target.

Autodesk shares were 4% lower in Friday trading.
