GuocoLand's Profit Declines 70% in Fiscal H2

GuocoLand's (SGX:F17) attributable profit fell 70% to SG$9.8 million in the second half of the fiscal year ended June 30, from SG$32.4 million a year ago, according to a Friday filing to the Singapore Exchange.

Earnings per share contracted to SG$0.0028 from SG$0.0256 a year earlier, the real estate company said.

Revenue slipped 29% to SG$642.0 million from SG$900.3 million a year ago.

The company's board proposed a tax-exempt one-tier first and final cash dividend of SG$0.08 per share for the fiscal year, payable Nov. 18.
