A drone logistics route connecting Zhuyu to Jinhai Intelligence Manufacturing in Daishan recently set a new daily record by completing 42 deliveries across 24 flights. During peak ordering periods, this cross-island route received over 30 orders within just half an hour, with an average delivery time of slightly more than two minutes, accelerating the shift toward on-demand delivery for inter-island goods transport.

As demand for low-altitude logistics between islands continues to rise, specialized companies are establishing operations in Daishan. In July this year, Zhoushan Kongyu UAV Technology Co., Ltd. officially set up base there, joining Zhejiang Qianli'an Low-Altitude Technology, which had already deployed earlier, to form the core of regular transport capacity. Together, these two firms now operate stable cross-island delivery services covering areas such as Qushan, Huangzeshan, and Shulanghu.

"The need for goods movement between islands is clearly growing, and the market potential is substantial," said Yu Biao, general manager of Zhoushan Kongyu UAV Technology Co., Ltd. To further improve the supporting infrastructure for island logistics, Daishan has now secured approval for 15 low-altitude economy routes, with two—Zhuyu to Shulanghu and Zhuyu to Jinhai Intelligence Manufacturing—running on a routine basis. These routes have collectively completed more than 1,600 cargo deliveries, signaling that low-altitude logistics is steadily becoming a regular part of daily life across the islands.
