Starbucks 'Field Work' Meal Deal Sparks Buzz, But It's Just an Online Joke

Aug 27

A recent online post claiming that Starbucks has launched a "Grab a Bite, Head to the Fields" section, featuring a "Field Work" meal deal and a "Double Field Work" combo, has caught the attention of social media users.

The playful naming has been widely interpreted as a nod to the struggles of office workers, with some netizens commenting, "This marketing feels a bit awkward."

However, a quick search on Starbucks' official mini-program, as well as on platforms like Meituan, Meituan Waimai, and Dianping, reveals no trace of the so-called meal deals.

While Starbucks has not yet issued an official statement on the matter, a customer service representative clarified, "We've noticed netizens having fun with this joke recently, but there are no such meal deals available at our stores. We welcome everyone to try the various afternoon tea sets we offer both in-store and on third-party platforms."
