CHINASOFT INT'L (00354) shares climbed more than 4%, trading up 4.18% at HK$3.985 at the time of writing, with turnover reaching HK$111 million. The move comes after the company announced a significant contract win in the smart transportation sector.
The group, serving as the lead consortium member, has successfully secured the 2026-2027 Xi'an Smart Transportation Construction Project from the Xi'an Municipal Public Security Bureau Traffic Management Detachment. The total contract value stands at RMB 245 million, marking a major milestone in the company's "AI + OpenHarmony" dual-engine strategy achieving large-scale deployment in the core smart transportation vertical.
According to CICC research, CHINASOFT INT'L's full-stack, full-scenario AI revenue surged 133.7% year-on-year to RMB 1.532 billion in the first half. This was driven by three key segments: AI-HarmonyOS contributing RMB 515 million, AI platform and services along with AI-ERP generating RMB 572 million, and computing power and Token business adding RMB 445 million.
CICC further noted that the company has established the FDE Innovation Lab with Moonshot AI, leveraging the allmeta platform and Kimi model as the technological foundation. The initial focus will be on the energy and power sector, with both parties sharing revenue generated from Token consumption and other derivative income derived from the Kimi model. The brokerage believes this collaboration could combine Moonshot AI's model capabilities with the company's industry expertise and delivery strengths, potentially transforming the business model from one-time project fees to recurring Token-based operations. However, the actual contribution to future earnings will depend on the progress of project implementation.
