Chengdu Expressway Reports Interim Results with 1.65% Dip in Net Profit Attributable to Parent

CHENGDU EXPWAY (01785) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, showing a slight decline in key financial metrics.

The group generated revenue of RMB 1.362 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.89%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company stood at RMB 258 million, down 1.65% from the previous corresponding period. Basic earnings per share were RMB 0.16.

Within the expressway segment, business revenue reached RMB 734 million (compared to RMB 772.65 million in the same period of 2025), reflecting a 4.95% decline. Toll revenue specifically amounted to RMB 612 million (versus RMB 676 million in 2025), down 9.43%. The weighted average daily traffic volume on the group's expressways totaled 175,800 vehicle trips (compared to 207,500 in 2025), marking a significant year-on-year drop of 15.31%.

The energy industry segment reported revenue of RMB 627.5 million (versus RMB 644 million in 2025), a decrease of 2.61% compared to the prior year.
