In a recent research report, Citi has slightly raised its target price for SINO LAND (00083) to HK$14.3, up from the previous HK$14.2, while maintaining a "Buy" rating on the stock.

The bank highlighted that SINO LAND holds substantial net cash of HK$55 billion, which equates to approximately HK$5.75 per share and represents about 56% of its current market capitalization. Citi believes this robust financial position provides the company with significant flexibility to pursue growth opportunities while also offering a strong buffer against macroeconomic uncertainties and interest rate fluctuations.

The analyst noted that any initiatives by SINO LAND to enhance capital efficiency and improve return on equity, whether through new project investments or increased shareholder returns, are likely to be met with positive investor response. Such actions could potentially catalyze a re-rating of the company's valuation.
