On August 21, Hang Seng Indexes Company unveiled the results of its quarterly index review as of June 30, 2026, with EPIWORLD (02726) being added to the Hang Seng Composite Index. The adjustment will take effect after the market close on Friday, September 4, and become active starting Monday, September 7. Following this, the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges will correspondingly update the list of eligible securities for the Stock Connect southbound trading channel.

EPIWORLD now stands a strong chance of being included in the southbound trading program, as it has met a series of criteria, including those related to market capitalization and liquidity. The company has also announced that it expects to record a net profit of approximately RMB 44 million to RMB 54 million for the first half of 2026, a sharp turnaround from a net loss of about RMB 2 million in the same period of 2025. Furthermore, its adjusted net profit for the first half of 2026 is projected to reach roughly RMB 134 million to RMB 144 million, compared to around RMB 97 million in the prior-year period, marking a year-on-year growth of approximately 38% to 48.5%. This substantial improvement in performance is primarily driven by a significant surge in revenue and gross profit from its core business operations.
