Legend Holdings (03396) has released its interim results for the first half of 2026, posting revenues of RMB362.935 billion, up 28.89% year-on-year. Net profit attributable to equity holders reached RMB2.23 billion, surging 219.03% compared to the same period last year, with basic earnings per share coming in at RMB0.95.

According to the company announcement, the industrial operations segment generated RMB360.839 billion in revenue during the reporting period, reflecting a 29% year-on-year increase. This growth was largely driven by Lenovo Group's strategic capture of opportunities presented by the rise of hybrid artificial intelligence, which propelled double-digit revenue expansion across all three of its business divisions. Additionally, Levima Advanced Materials contributed to the uptick as several major projects commenced production, accelerating its revenue growth trajectory.

Lenovo Group has firmly seized the momentum behind hybrid AI, with its three core business lines all achieving double-digit revenue growth in the first two quarters, each setting new historical records for the corresponding period. The personal computer business continues to consolidate its competitive edge, having widened its market share gap over the industry's number-two player for ten consecutive quarters. In the latest quarter, global PC market share reached 24.2%, while AI PC share climbed to 25.1%. Meanwhile, the smartphone business posted steady revenue growth and hit an all-time high.

The infrastructure solutions business saw explosive expansion, with revenue jumping 62% year-on-year. AI server order backlog stood at a substantial US$54 billion by the end of the second quarter. Both the cloud infrastructure and enterprise infrastructure divisions delivered rapid revenue gains, while operating margin improved to 6.9%, signalling a marked enhancement in profitability. The solutions and services business continued to refine its operational quality, with revenue up 19% year-on-year and operating margin reaching a record 23.3%. Revenue from AI services grew at a triple-digit pace year-on-year.

Artificial intelligence has now emerged as a core growth engine for Lenovo Group, with AI-related revenue climbing 64% year-on-year and representing 36% of total revenue.
