Century Legend (Holdings) Limited released its tenth Environmental, Social and Governance Report, covering 1 January–31 December 2025 and the Wan Chai head office, “Headquarters” hair salon in Central, and three “Homy” branded accommodations in Hong Kong.
Carbon and Energy • Total Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse-gas emissions fell to 362.40 tonnes CO₂e from 451.38 tonnes, a 19.71% reduction, cutting intensity to 7.89 tonnes CO₂e per million revenue. • Total energy consumption eased 3.91% to 838.56 MWh; electricity usage slipped 7.06% to 536.38 MWh, while town gas consumption rose marginally to 281.05 MWh. • The Group signed the Hong Kong Energy Saving Charter and retained the “Good Level” Energywi$e Certificate.
Resource Management • Water usage declined 5.02% to 12,570 m³, lowering intensity to 273.52 m³ per million revenue. • Non-hazardous waste generation dropped 24.22% to 8.82 tonnes; paper recycling removed 1.77 tonnes, avoiding an estimated 8.49 tonnes of CO₂e. • Electronic waste nearly halved to 0.55 tonnes. • “Good Level” Wastewi$e certification was awarded to the Company, while “Headquarters” achieved the “Excellent Level”.
Workforce • Headcount remained at 45, all based in Hong Kong. • Annual staff turnover improved to 20% from 29%, with zero work-related injuries or fatalities for the third consecutive year. • 62% of employees received training; average training hours reached eight for women and seven for men. • The Group maintained recognition as a “Good MPF Employer” and held Manpower Developer status through 2027.
Governance and Compliance • No material breaches were recorded in environmental, labor, product responsibility or anti-corruption domains. • Board-level oversight of ESG continues, supported by an independent consultant; climate-risk assessment follows TCFD and ISSB frameworks.
Community and Recognition • Designated a “Caring Company – 15 Years +” by HKCSS; participated in Community Chest “Green Low Carbon Day” and “Dress Casual Day”. • Secured Hong Kong Green Organisation certification for 2025–2027.
Outlook Century Legend intends to join at least one climate-related initiative annually and will keep expanding low-carbon measures across its hairdressing, hospitality, property and investment businesses.
