On July 28, 2026, Gold Peak Technology Group Limited (00040) announced that the company and its subsidiary, Gold Peak Battery, have entered into lease agreements with Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation as the landlord, for the rental of Properties A and B.
The lease term runs from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2029, inclusive of both start and end dates, for a duration of three years. These agreements are effective and binding, subject to the terms and conditions contained within each lease. As of the announcement date, each tenant has signed and returned the respective lease agreements to the landlord, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation.
Property A comprises multiple units located at 12 Science Park West Avenue, Phase 3, Hong Kong Science Park, Pak Shek Kok, New Territories, including: (i) Room 801 on the 18th floor; (ii) Rooms 809-810 on the 28th floor; (iii) Rooms 811-818 on the 38th floor; (iv) Rooms 901-908 on the 49th floor; and (v) Rooms 909-918 on the 59th floor.
Property B is located at Units 708-709, 7th Floor, 16 Science Park West Avenue, Phase 3, Hong Kong Science Park, Pak Shek Kok, New Territories.
The Group currently uses these properties as its Hong Kong headquarters, and the existing lease is set to expire on July 31, 2026. Given that the Hong Kong Science Park serves as a key technology infrastructure hub designed to foster a suitable environment for research and development in sectors such as electronics and high-tech industries, which aligns with the Group's core business, leasing these premises is beneficial and complementary to the Group's operations in Hong Kong, China, and Southeast Asia.
Furthermore, by signing the lease agreement to renew the property lease, the Group will be able to continue its business operations in Hong Kong without interruption and avoid relocation costs.
