Following the mudslide disaster in Gyirong County, Shigatse, Xigaze, the Ministry of Emergency Management has mobilized national work safety rescue teams for cross-regional reinforcement, fully supporting local rescue operations.

On September 1, three national work safety rescue teams—the National Work Safety Investigation and Survey Team, the National Tunnel Rescue China Communications Construction Chongqing Team, and the National Tunnel Rescue China Railway No.2 Engineering Bureau Tibet Team—arrived with professional equipment, including slope radar, drones, and life detectors. They have formed a joint monitoring group for the barrier lake at Gyirong Port, continuously conducting on-site surveillance of the lake's dam body, the southern bank landslide mass, and the corner mountain body at the lower reaches of the lake's downstream valley.
