Datang Power (00991) has announced a capital injection plan for its subsidiary, with an agreement formalized on August 28, 2026. The company, alongside Datang Jiangsu and Nantong State Investment, signed a capital increase agreement to bolster the registered capital of Datang Lusi Port through cash contributions.
Under the terms of the agreement, contributions are aligned with each party's shareholding ratio and the funding demands of the expansion project. Datang Power is slated to inject approximately 920 million yuan, while Datang Jiangsu will contribute about 585 million yuan, and Nantong State Investment will add roughly 167 million yuan, culminating in a combined capital increase of about 1.672 billion yuan.
Following the completion of this capital injection, Datang Power's cumulative investment in Datang Lusi Port will reach approximately 1.593 billion yuan, maintaining its total stake at 55%. Meanwhile, Datang Jiangsu's cumulative contribution will total about 1.013 billion yuan, preserving its 35% shareholding, and Nantong State Investment's total outlay will reach 290 million yuan, retaining its 10% ownership stake.
The company stated that this capital injection will inject fresh funds into Datang Lusi Port, strengthening its financial capacity and fundraising capabilities. This move is expected to facilitate the smooth progression of the expansion project, optimize the company's power structure adjustments, and align with its strategic direction toward energy transition. The expansion initiative refers to the Datang Lusi Port 2×1,000 MW expansion project.
