KLN (00636) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, reporting group revenue of HK$29.851 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.7%. Profit attributable to shareholders rose 4.08% to HK$675 million, with earnings per share of HK$0.37 and an interim dividend of HK$0.12 per share declared.
Leveraging its comprehensive service portfolio and customer-centric solutions, KLN has secured a substantial client base across key markets, driving consolidated revenue up 10% year-on-year to HK$29.851 billion. However, amid market pressures and a competitive landscape, core operating profit declined 8% year-on-year to HK$1.236 billion.
Through disciplined financial management, including cash pooling initiatives to optimize capital usage and lower financing costs, along with effective tax planning, the group achieved a 2% year-on-year increase in core net profit to HK$695 million. Despite the drop in core operating profit, core net profit edged up 2% to HK$695 million (compared to HK$681 million in H1 2025), primarily driven by more efficient finance costs and tax management. Shareholder-attributable profit grew 4% during the first half of 2026, reaching HK$674 million (versus HK$648 million in H1 2025).
