The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued a notice to launch a special action program aimed at fostering artificial intelligence application service providers. This initiative will establish a resource pool for service providers, focusing on enhancing their technological innovation, integrated delivery, and security compliance capabilities, while cultivating a workforce of AI application service providers who understand industry pain points, grasp technical mechanisms, are aware of security risks, and excel in delivery and operations.

By the end of 2026, the number of service providers in the national resource pool is targeted to exceed 2,000, forming a multi-tiered structure with a rational composition, clear division of labor, and collaborative innovation, significantly strengthening delivery capabilities for complex scenarios. By the end of 2027, the national resource pool is expected to include no fewer than 3,000 service providers, supporting the development of an AI application service ecosystem that integrates all key elements, connects the entire value chain, and covers all application scenarios.
