MicroPort MedBot Sets Up Board-Level ESG Committee to Drive Long-Term Sustainability Strategy

Shanghai MicroPort MedBot (Group) Co., Ltd. has created an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee at the board level following a board resolution disclosed on 27 August 2026. The new body is mandated to review, oversee and recommend the Group’s ESG strategy, vision, objectives, policies and implementation roadmap, ensuring alignment with long-term sustainable development goals.

The ESG Committee comprises three directors: executive director Dr. Chao He and independent non-executive directors Dr. Guoen Liu and Mr. Jonathan H. Chou. Dr. Guoen Liu will serve as chairperson.

The current Board consists of one executive director (Dr. Chao He), five non-executive directors (Dr. Zhaohua Chang, Mr. Hiroshi Shirafuji, Mr. Norihiro Ashida, Mr. Chen Chen and Ms. Min Liang) and four independent non-executive directors (Dr. Guoen Liu, Mr. Jonathan H. Chou, Mr. Haisong Yao and Mr. Wai Man Chung).

The establishment of the ESG Committee is effective immediately as of 27 August 2026 and underscores MicroPort MedBot’s commitment to integrating sustainability considerations into corporate governance and strategic planning.
