Starting September 19th, Ningbo Airport will introduce a new route to Harbin via Changzhi, operated by Longjiang Airlines. This marks the first time Ningbo Airport has offered direct flights to Changzhi in Shanxi Province, making travel between the two cities significantly more convenient. An Airbus A320 from Longjiang Airlines was seen landing at Ningbo Airport.
The newly launched Ningbo-Changzhi-Harbin route will be serviced by Longjiang Airlines using Airbus A320 aircraft, with three flights operating weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flight LT6638 departs from Ningbo Lishe Airport Terminal 1 at 19:00, arrives at Changzhi Wangcun Airport at 21:15, and reaches Harbin Taiping Airport Terminal 2 at 00:40 the following day. Flight LT6637 leaves Harbin at 20:00, departs again from Changzhi at 23:40, and arrives in Ningbo at 01:50 the next morning. The one-way flight time between Ningbo and Changzhi is approximately 2 hours.
Tickets for the new route are now available through major ticketing platforms, with one-way fares starting at 220 yuan (excluding taxes) between the two cities. Changzhi, historically known as Shangdang, is located in the southeastern part of Shanxi Province at the junction of Shanxi, Hebei, and Henan provinces. The poet Su Dongpo once praised the area with the phrase "Shangdang has always been the ridge of the world."
Currently, the G3136 train from Ningbo Railway Station to Taiyuan South Station passes through Changzhi daily, stopping at both Changzhi South and Changzhi East stations. The train departs Ningbo at 7:21 AM, arriving at Changzhi South Station at 4:13 PM and Changzhi East Station at 4:25 PM, with a total journey time of approximately 9 hours. A second-class seat from Ningbo to Changzhi South costs 717.5 yuan.
Industry insiders note that with the launch of this flight, travelers from Ningbo will now have three available destinations within Shanxi Province—Taiyuan, Yuncheng, and Changzhi—offering greater flexibility and convenience for passengers traveling between the two regions.
