Bank of Suzhou Completes Issuance of 3 Billion Yuan Subordinated Bonds

On August 24th, financial market news reported that Bank Of Suzhou Co.,Ltd. announced the successful issuance of its 2026 first tranche of subordinated bonds in the national interbank bond market, following approval from the People's Bank of China and the Jiangsu Regulatory Bureau of the National Financial Regulatory Administration.

The bonds, officially named "Bank of Suzhou Co.,Ltd. 2026 Subordinated Bonds (Tranche 1)," were booked on August 19, 2026, and fully paid by August 21, 2026, with a total issuance scale of RMB 3 billion.

These are 10-year fixed-rate instruments featuring a conditional issuer call option at the end of the fifth year, carrying a coupon rate of 1.86%. The proceeds from this issuance will be utilized, in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory approvals, to strengthen the bank's Tier 2 capital base.
