Medical Equipment Firm Sets IPO Terms, Opens Bookbuilding Late August

Medical equipment maker Medcaptain Medical (HKG: 02041) is opening its Hong Kong initial public offering subscription window from August 28 to September 2, 2026, with plans to globally offer 38.91 million H shares. The offering is split between 3.89 million H shares for the Hong Kong public tranche and 35.02 million H shares for the international placement, with a fixed offer price of HK$15.42 per share. Trading in lots of 100 H shares is expected to commence on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, September 7, 2026.

The company operates as a global medical device supplier, addressing clinical needs across a broad spectrum of hospital departments, inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, community health centers, diagnostic laboratories, and home care settings. As of March 31, 2026, the group's portfolio comprises more than 60 life support products, over 110 minimally invasive intervention devices, and upwards of 150 in-vitro diagnostic products, each available in multiple configurations to suit diverse application scenarios.

Its products have been deployed cumulatively across more than 140 countries and regions worldwide. Within China, the group's offerings have reached over 6,000 hospitals, including approximately 90% of all Class A tertiary hospitals, spanning 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions.
