Sanergy Group (02459) has released its interim results for the first half of 2026, reporting revenue of $20.135 million, a 15.3% decrease compared to the same period last year.
The company recorded a net loss of $7.528 million during the period, narrowing by 22.1% year-on-year, with a basic loss per share of 4.0 US cents.
The reduction in losses was primarily driven by the group's sustained gross profit generation and continued cost optimization efforts during the first six months of 2026.
The group's gross profit performance remained resilient, with approximately $2.6 million achieved in the first half of 2026, compared to $2.5 million in the corresponding period of 2025. Concurrently, the gross margin improved from 10.4% to 12.8% year-on-year.
Notably, the core graphite electrode business achieved a gross margin of 13.9%, representing a significant improvement from the overall gross margin of 10.4% recorded in the first half of 2025.
