As of August 31st, Beijing Daxing International Airport port has handled more than 4 million entries and exits this year, reaching this milestone 11 days earlier than the previous year, according to data released on September 1st by the Beijing Daxing Airport Immigration Inspection Station.

The port currently offers flights to over 40 international and regional destinations, including popular cities such as Singapore, Seoul, London, and Amsterdam. This year has seen the addition of new direct routes to Helsinki, Frankfurt, and Milan, among others, making cross-border travel more convenient than ever.

The continued benefits of China's visa-free policies and various facilitation measures have attracted a growing number of foreign visitors. By August 31st, the port had welcomed over 700,000 foreign nationals entering the country.

With the start of the summer travel season, there has been a surge in demand from mainland residents to travel abroad, with increases in family outbound trips, study tour groups, and cross-border family visits. To manage the heavy passenger flow during this peak period, the immigration inspection station has focused on preventing congestion and ensuring smooth operations, expediting the clearance process. They have implemented an online declaration policy for foreigner entry cards, adopted a dynamic 'tidal flow' approach to police deployment, and monitored port traffic in real-time. Additionally, a multilingual service team has been established, with officers proficient in foreign languages stationed at the front to proactively inform incoming passengers about entry-exit policies, thereby enhancing both security control and service efficiency.
