IB SETTLEMENT appoints seasoned banker Lou Ming as executive director, effective 19 Aug 2026

International Business Settlement Holdings Limited (IB SETTLEMENT) has confirmed the appointment of Lou Ming, aged 54, as an executive director with effect from 19 August 2026. The Board formally welcomed his addition in an announcement dated the same day.

Lou Ming brings close to three decades of banking and corporate-finance experience, underpinned by a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a master’s degree in corporate finance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His advisory track record spans Hong Kong and mainland China, covering Main Board and GEM IPOs, takeovers, M&A transactions, debt and corporate restructurings, and listed-company spin-offs. He also served as a responsible officer for Type 6 (advising on corporate finance) regulated activity under the Securities and Futures Ordinance for approximately 18 years until 2022.

Under the signed letter of appointment, Lou will serve an initial one-year term starting 19 August 2026, with automatic annual renewal thereafter, subject to the company’s bye-laws and Hong Kong Listing Rules on rotation and re-election. Either party may terminate the arrangement with a minimum one-month written notice. Remuneration comprises an annual salary of HK$1.20 million and a year-end bonus of HK$0.20 million, alongside potential discretionary performance incentives set by the remuneration committee.

As of the announcement date, Lou holds no other positions within the company, has not served on the boards of other listed entities in the past three years, maintains no ties with directors, senior management, or substantial shareholders, and owns no shares or related instruments in IB SETTLEMENT or its associated corporations.
