Ningbo Joyson Electronic Corp. (Joyson Elec) disclosed that on 27 August 2026 it repurchased 454,500 H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under its existing buy-back mandate.
• Transaction details – Volume: 454,500 shares, equivalent to 0.30 % of the 149.36 million issued shares outstanding prior to the trade. – Price range: HKD 12.06–12.42 per share; volume-weighted average price: HKD 12.32. – Total consideration: HKD 5.60 million.
• Share capital impact – Issued shares outstanding (ex-treasury) fell to 148.91 million. – Treasury shares rose to 6.19 million, keeping total issued share capital unchanged at 155.10 million. – The repurchased shares are being held in treasury and have not been cancelled.
• Mandate utilisation – The current buy-back authority, approved on 12 May 2026, allows repurchase of up to 15.44 million shares. – Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 5.50 million shares, representing 35.6 % of the authorised limit and 3.56 % of issued shares at the date the mandate was granted.
• Regulatory note – In line with listing rules, Joyson Elec is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, expiring on 26 September 2026.
The company confirmed that the repurchase complied with all applicable Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations and internal approvals.
