BONNY HLDG Anticipates Net Profit Surge in Interim Results

BONNY HLDG (01906) has announced a positive profit alert for the six months ending June 30, 2026 (the reporting period). The company expects to record a net profit attributable to owners of approximately RMB 8 million to RMB 10 million, a significant increase from the RMB 1.2 million recorded in the same period last year (the comparative period). This represents a rise of roughly RMB 6.8 million to RMB 8.8 million.

The profit for the reporting period includes gains related to the disposal of Hong Kong Bonny Limited, estimated at RMB 14 million to RMB 16 million, after accounting for exchange differences reclassified from other comprehensive income to profit or loss. Excluding the gains from this disposal, the company would have recorded a loss for the reporting period.

Based on currently available information, the board attributes the loss (excluding disposal gains) primarily to a decline in core business revenue. The group recorded principal business revenue of approximately RMB 97 million for the reporting period, down about 16% from RMB 116 million in the comparative period. The sluggish growth in consumer demand for apparel, combined with intense competition in the domestic and international garment original design manufacturing (ODM) sector, has led to a reduction in customer orders compared to previous years.
