Asset Chain Limited (the “Group”) issued a profit alert indicating that its consolidated net loss for the year ended 31 March 2026 is expected to contract sharply to not more than HK$80.00 million, compared with a HK$365.30 million loss in FY2025—an improvement of approximately 78%.
Management attributed the turnaround to five main factors:
1. Reversal of write-down on properties held for development for sale. 2. Higher net gains from changes in fair value of financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss. 3. Reduced loss on disposal of investment properties. 4. Lower loss arising from modification of convertible-note terms. 5. Decline in finance costs.
These positive drivers were partially offset by an increase in write-downs on properties held for sale.
The figures are based on unaudited management accounts; audited results are scheduled for release on or before 30 June 2026. Asset Chain advised shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in its securities until the final numbers are confirmed.
