The program leverages artificial intelligence to replace traditional manual inspection methods with a streamlined, self-service model.

Previously, companies often faced delays as they waited for officials to physically measure their shipments. Now, under the pilot "AI Intelligent Inspection" service, a company staff member can simply walk around the loaded vehicle with a smartphone. The system uses AI visual recognition and 3D ranging technology to instantly build a model of the cargo and automatically calculate its dimensions, a process that once took one to two working days but now takes just over ten minutes.

This new "Credit+" approval model gives the initiative back to businesses with a good credit record. Instead of waiting for on-site inspections, they can submit their own video footage from the loading site. The system's smart rules engine verifies the data in real-time, allowing compliant applications to gain instant approval. Any questionable cases are automatically flagged for manual review, with the entire process handled online, eliminating the need for physical visits to government offices.

To ensure the new system works effectively, the Taizhou Transportation Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Detachment has conducted hands-on training sessions for businesses. These sessions guide staff on proper filming techniques and form submission, ensuring data authenticity and procedural compliance from the source. Already, pilot companies have successfully shipped multiple sets of wind power equipment using this new method.

The benefits are tangible, helping companies shorten inventory cycles and reduce warehousing and capital pressures, which is crucial for meeting tight export order deadlines. Moving from manual measurement to AI precision inspection and from official visits to independent reporting, Taizhou's reform uses digital tools and credit-based oversight to make the oversized transport industry smarter and more standardized. This initiative is clearing the way for "Made in Jiangsu" goods to reach the global market more efficiently.
