DIRECTEL Reports Annual Loss Widens to HK$9 Million

DIRECTEL (08337) announced its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025. The group recorded revenue of HK$48.288 million, a decrease of 64.86% compared to the previous year. The loss attributable to equity shareholders was HK$9.001 million, representing an increase of 11.08% year-on-year. The loss per share was HK 3.68 cents.

The group has strengthened its cost control measures and remains vigilant in actively responding to various specific circumstances. It is currently in discussions with service providers to further reduce the unit costs of talk time and mobile data. This initiative aims to lower the selling prices of prepaid products and enhance competitiveness.

Additionally, the group is actively seeking distributors to expand into overseas markets. The objective is to offer travelers abroad access to mobile data services at lower prices. DIRECTEL believes that launching a variety of prepaid products will help broaden its user base and increase total usage of talk time and mobile data. These efforts are expected to consolidate the group's market position, boost revenue, and improve its market share within the competitive mobile telecommunications industry.
