A themed activity focused on forest fire prevention and wildlife protection was recently organized by the Fujiang Sanxing Ship Lock Project of CCCC Second Highway Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., commonly referred to as CCCC Second Highway Engineering Bureau. The initiative engaged young employees through a comprehensive three-pronged approach combining theoretical presentations, interactive educational games, and on-site patrols, effectively reinforcing the project's dual commitment to production safety and ecological preservation.
Given the heightened risk of forest fires during the hot and dry summer season, the project's safety department conducted specialized mini-lectures covering essential topics such as prohibitions on open flames in wilderness areas, standardized procedures for reporting fire incidents, and key techniques for handling initial fire outbreaks. These sessions were designed to strengthen the fire prevention awareness of young staff members and enhance their practical emergency response capabilities.
Following the lectures, participants took part in an engaging quiz game featuring images of local wild animals and plants. Through this interactive format, attendees deepened their understanding of ecological conservation principles and the value of protecting various species, all while reinforcing the project's guiding philosophy of environmentally responsible construction and ecological stewardship of forested areas.
In the latter portion of the event, the young patrol team ventured to the hillside behind the project site for a hands-on forest fire inspection. Team members conducted systematic, zone-by-zone searches, focusing on clearing accumulated dry branches and leaves, leftover ignition sources, and other flammable debris. They also closely monitored for any unauthorized fire usage or vegetation damage, while simultaneously educating nearby residents and passersby about fire prevention and forest protection practices to broaden the campaign's outreach.
This activity successfully merged education with entertainment and integrated patrol efforts with preventive measures, significantly bolstering the young team's fire prevention capabilities and ecological awareness. Looking ahead, the Sanxing Ship Lock Project plans to maintain regular forest fire patrols and ecological awareness campaigns, empowering its young workforce to serve as a vital force in upholding both production safety and environmental protection standards.
