QUANTGROUP (02685) has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, revealing a significant drop in profitability. The company recorded revenue of RMB 437 million, representing a 14% decrease year-over-year, while profit attributable to shareholders fell by 78% to RMB 29.524 million. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 5.73 cents.
According to the company's announcement, the core consumer e-commerce platform Yangxiaomie achieved a cumulative Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of approximately RMB 3.3 billion during the reporting period, down from RMB 5.5 billion in the same period last year. This decline was primarily attributed to the deteriorating macroeconomic environment, intensifying market competition, and an overall contraction in the e-commerce industry driven by evolving regulatory conditions. Additionally, slowing retail sales and household consumption growth, coupled with the reallocation of marketing and sales resources, contributed to the downturn.
In response to these challenges, the group has continued to strengthen its core operational foundation, leveraging its proprietary AI platform QuantPlanet to enhance refined operational capabilities. As of June 30, 2026, cumulative registered users surpassed 65 million, representing a net increase of 4.9 million compared to June 30, 2025. The continuously expanding user base provides a solid foundation for the long-term development of the group's e-commerce platform business.
