Starting at midnight tonight, domestic refined oil product prices will officially increase, according to the latest announcement from the National Development and Reform Commission. The adjustment window for domestic refined oil product prices will open at 24:00 today, marking a new price point for consumers across the country.

During this pricing cycle, which spans from August 14th at 24:00 to August 28th at 24:00, international crude oil prices have been fluctuating within a range, as monitored by the price monitoring center of the National Development and Reform Commission. This volatility has contributed to the upward adjustment in domestic retail fuel prices.

With the new pricing effective from 24:00 today, the retail price caps for gasoline and diesel will each rise by 375 yuan and 360 yuan per ton, respectively. On a nationwide average basis, this translates to an increase of 0.29 yuan per liter for 92-octane gasoline, 0.31 yuan per liter for 95-octane gasoline, and 0.31 yuan per liter for 0-diesel.

For everyday drivers, the impact is straightforward: filling up a standard 50-liter tank of 92-octane gasoline will now cost approximately 14.5 yuan more per visit. This adjustment reflects the latest changes in global energy markets and aims to align domestic fuel prices with international trends.
